Welcome!
We are Steve + Melissa Glintz, a husband/wife team living in Wainfleet, Niagara. We love everything outdoors and try to live our lives with an easy going attitude and a plate of great food. We were both born and raised in Niagara and have now established our family and business in this bountiful region. We truly believe food is a common ground, the best way to bring people together.
Steve is the intellect behind each dish. His food career began at Vineland Estates Winery where he started as a dishwasher and worked his way up the cooking stations. There, he worked under many accredited Chefs and gained the passion and drive to go on and complete his Culinary Apprenticeship at Niagara College. He took his career out West to gain experience in several different restaurants, gaining knowledge in flavour profiles, plating techniques and dining services. Steve returned to Vineland in 2011 as Sous Chef, working his way up to Chef de Cuisine and in 2019 made the decision to go out on his own and start Gather Niagara.
